A running sight gag has Jason Segel dressed in a pink bunny suit which his character Tom wore to the New Years Eve party where he met Violet She dressed as Princess Di and its no wonder the two hit it off. One year later, Tom proposes to Violet in one of the cutest marry-me sequences staged in recent movie history.
The film hits a speed bump after Tom and Violet move to Michigan for Violets post-doctorate appointment. Tom cant find a job and winds up making sandwiches Violet comes under the sway of a flashy psych professor and the two begin to grow apart. Because its so willing to drill down into Toms and Violets misery The Five-Year Engagement involves a higher grim-to-grin ratio than its fluffier brethren.
There is an unmistakable ring of truth to the couple's conflicts and mixed feelings. Contains sexual content and profanity throughout. Extras: Commentary by director-writer-producer Nicholas Stoller, producer Rodney Rothman
And speaking of Caskett, it took the two of them four seasons to get together on the show, but it also took four seasons for our other favorite relationship on the show Espo bromance to finally result in aHuertas smooch on the blooper reel, much to costar Katics very vocal delight! Icing on the cake - we even got some browncoat lovin' going on with Fillion and Baldwin too. Can this cast possibly be any funnier Actually hold that thought, because we have got Season just on the horizon now
