In case you hadn't noticed we're kind of into Game of Thrones here. That is to say we're obsessed with all things Westeros.

So when we received a beautiful scroll from "House Targaryen" complete with wax seal, inviting us to "celebrate the destruction of Westeros some centuries ago, at the noble leadership of our great Father Aegon I," we were rather happy. By "rather happy" we mean we did a dance in our pyjamas, accidently stepped on the cat and then visited the godswood to pray to the Old Gods. Ahem.

The party was held at the Old Vic Tunnels, a cavernous underground space which is gaining a reputation as the venue of choice for cool parties. A perfect setting for something like Game of Thrones it is accessible via a dank looking, graffiti adorned tunnel which has an "interesting perfume" about it. Not somewhere one would wish to navigate alone late at night. That is the entrance for "House Stark." Those of us invited by "House Targaryen" enter via the side of the building, located on the main road. It's a deceptively plain looking entrance. Once inside, the building is transformed into Pentos. A corridor styled like a bazaar, complete with bartering salesmen beseeching party goers to buy their kindling and fruit, leads to a beautifully decorated room - The Free City of Pentos.

Upon entering the main "Pentos" room, the sound of drums bounces off the walls and it becomes evident that the two "Houses" are, at least initially, separated from one another and this is the cast and crew side. And us. We're here. And we are woefully underdressed.

A visit to the bar involves a sighting of the dashing Robb Stark ordering tankards of ale. A barman dressed in the fashions of the free cities hands us a goblet of wine. Dornish perhaps?
